Hello Everyone!

This is a quick note to let you all know that I'm going to be away from the 8th of May to the 28th May. Any orders placed in this period will be shipped following my return, likely at the beginning of June.

Orders placed between the 4th-7th May will be shipped on the 8th May and you will be contacted with your postage details then.

If you have any questions, send me an email/message through the contact form on this website! I will have sporadic access to the internet but I hope to answer any questions ASAP.

Duke is an accidental "one of a kind". I lost his belly piece whilst sewing so I had to improvise, and has brown eyes rather than the usual deep grey that I use on these plushies. Because he's a little different I named him Duke, but you're welcome to re-name him if you'd like!
This Thylacine is a little smaller than my regular ones, and have slightly shorter tail. This is because the pattern was based off photos of captive individual which had a damaged tail, which was often seen in captive thylacines.

This plush is made of custom printed minky fabric to my own design, sewn and stuffed, with plastic safety eyes. It has plastic beans in it's body for weight and pose-ability. This plush isn't stuffed solidly so it is flops and sits like a bean bag.

These plushies will come with a certificate of authenticity, detailling their species, the date they were made and proving that they are an original Palaeoplushie handmade in Scotland by Rebecca Groom.

As this is a hand made item, it is not intended for children and is designed to be an art piece for adults. As they are stitched by machine, they won't fall apart if handled roughly but have not passed the relevant safety standards to be sold as a child's toy.

An Optional Donation can be made on your behalf to Conservation Volunteers Australia "Help Save the Tasmanian Devil" programme, which includes rebuilding essential habitat and maintaining fences to protect disease-free populations of Tasmanian Devils.

Plushie Dimensions: 36cm long including tail, 26cm body length
Description: Also known as the Tasmanian Tiger or Wolf. Thylacinus cynocephalus was a carnivorous marsupial native to continental Australia, Tasmania and New Guinea. It was driven to extinction in the 20th Century, with the last known specimen dying in captivity in 1936. There have been a number of unconfirmed sightings since but was declared extinct in 1982.
